Abstract
In the Propp-based story generation mechanisms and the integrated narrative
generation system which we have been developing, the former functions is
a module in the latter. These systems have used respective event generation
mechanisms to generated events which are the most important units in a
narrative structural representation. A common event generation mechanism
needs to be used in these two systems towards the complete blending. This
paper will present the first tentative attempt as a prototype to be revised
in the future.
